How to make fabulous hand-painted oil paintings?

Traditional hand-painted oil painting processes often begin with a sketch. The artist is scheduled to draw his intended theme onto the canvas using charcoal. After which, he's to get started mixing the colors with flaxseed oil and solvents. After which, these mixtures were applied within the drawing appropriately each layer brushed was mandated to own thicker oil coating compared to the last to promote faster drying, which can take about two weeks. After few months, the finished technique is varnished to give it additional protection. And subsequently, it's framed for display.

Now, mentionened above previously earlier, oil colors will often be blended with varnishes and other materials in order to manipulate its translucency, density and sheen. But not use linseed, particularly, on white and blue mediums when they are likely to create a yellowish discoloration. Instead, use poppy oil on light colors as it gets the least tendency to deviate. You have to be wary about the fact which it dries slower. In case you have made mistakes and would want to clear them up, just use alcohol to take out the layer of oil paint or varnish on the canvas. As soon as you will find the finished product, always dry it under sunlight as lack of it may the oil to elevate on the surface, ruining colour scheme. Finally, never forfeit the opportunity to reassess and boost your work. What's great aboutanimal oil paintings is that you could always do touch ups on certain parts without ruining the whole thing.

When making figure oil paintings, it is highly recommended you set your available choice of colors with your palette prior to starting, from the order you want to rely on them which means you could progress instinctively and avoid making mistakes. In order to test how certain mixtures will pan off, sample different combinations first having a sheet and label them appropriately. In addition, do not use ivory black for the sketching, just in case you would not have charcoal, mainly because it has a tendency to dry slower than other oil paints. You might be charcoal, draw lightly so that it has no effect on the colors you have after. Be mindful of the constituents of your oil paints also, and pay attention to into it that you've got those containing lead, cobalt and manganese; not the generic alternatives. And in mixing flaxseed oil, avoid too much as it promote wrinkling.

7 Tips to Become a Better Oil Painting Artist

How to become a greater hand-painted oil painting artist.

1. Get some good good formal training if at all. It’s an error to teach yourself everything. Obviously any good workshop occasionally provides improvement over nothing.

2. Attempt to strike a path together with your approach. I mean ,, should you be absolutely serious about abstract oil paintings you are able to’t do some with this as well as a little of the (a bit impressionism, somewhat watercolor, just a little photorealism, etc.). When you still need to explore prior to define your path, that’s fine. Don’t rush it. But make a determination. May I submit to you that when you recruit a good handle during one style of expression your other experiments will be much more meaningful.

3. In connection with point #2 — Identify yourself what you wish to paint, why you desire to paint it, the way you want to paint it. Describe to yourself that which you anticipate to communicate inside your artistic expression. (when you can do this happen to be on your path)

4. Also related to point #2 — Pick three artists (minimum) that you might want to emulate within your work. Study whatever you can about them. Seek to identify how it's about their work which you like. Do a little master copies in their animal oil paintings.

5. Get serious and schedule regular time in your week to paint.
6. Employ a methodical approach to your figure oil paintings. Formulate a measure by step method. Take into consideration both your strengths and your weaknesses. Teach, or otherwise manage to articulate your approach just like you were gonna teach it.

How to use paint roller frame creatively?

An improved abstract oil painting roller having a distal and proximal end, comprising: an end cap attached to the distal end of the paint roller, wherein the end cap is configured to allow removal of the paint roller from a paint roller frame while minimizing a user's contact with the paint roller; and wherein the end cap is configured such that the end cap remains attached to the paint roller during removal of the paint roller from the paint roller frame.

figure oil painting

Paint rollers are extremely popular for hand-painted oil painting projects, especially for do-it-yourself (DIY) type projects. Paint rollers are a fast, simple and effective way of applying paint to large areas. Paint rollers have three major components: core, adhesive, and fabric. The core is the base of the paint roller. The core can be constructed from a wide range of materials known to one skilled in the art (e.g. plastic, cardboard, and phenolic-impregnated materials). The type of core typically is based on the type of paint to be applied as well as desired durability and potential re-use of the paint roller. Untreated cardboard cores are typically utilized in throwaway or disposable covers.

An adhesive is applied to the outside of the core and is utilized to attach the fabric. Typically, the adhesive is epoxy based. Other adhesives known to one skilled in the art are also utilized. The fabric of the roller typically comprises fibers woven or knitted to a backing and adhesively applied to the roller core. Fabrics include natural fibers (e.g. wool, mohair, and lambskin) as well as synthetic fibers (e.g. nylon, polyester, acrylic, rayon, and blends of one or more synthetic fibers).

An animal oil painting frame is typically utilized to support a paint roller and apply paint to a surface. In order to keep the paint roller securely attached to the paint roller frame and prevent the paint roller from sliding off the paint roller frame, the paint roller frame is configure to provide a snug fit for the paint roller. However, after the paint roller has been used to apply paint to a surface, a user typically must remove the paint roller from the paint roller frame for either cleaning or disposal of the paint roller. This typically results in the user having paint contacting the user's skin or clothes.

In addition, the figure oil paintings covered with paint can often provide a slippery surface further frustrating the removal process. As such, it is desired to have a paint roller that allows removal of the paint roller from a paint roller frame while minimizing paint contacting the user.

How to improve the look of your house?

In part due to the reasons discussed above, hand-painted oil painting has become a popular way to decorate a room. Some individuals previously considered painting as a boring option. However, now the increased availability of new colors in combination with many different methods of application can create a look quite similar to that of expensive wallpaper.

The lower surface of the paint apparatus is disposed at an angle, such as 5 degrees. The lower surface is angled from the first portion and extends down toward a paint reservoir, located proximate to an exterior wall of the paint apparatus. The angle permits the excess paint to be directed toward the reservoir during use. One embodiment provides the first portion in generally a central location of the paint apparatus. In one embodiment, the paint apparatus has a paint unloading section and a paint distribution section integrally formed with the lower surface. The paint unloading section includes a plurality of channels having a wave-like shape. The channels extend from the first portion of the paint apparatus, and permit excess paint to be disposed therein. The paint distribution section includes a series of projections, which are angled with respect to the dividers. The projections facilitate preparing the paint application device with an even distribution of animal oil paintings.

Another embodiment of the invention includes a metering device. In one embodiment, the metering device includes two paint metering grids. The grids are disposed within the paint reservoir, and allow the paint to wick up the grids. The grids are provided with rectangularly or circularly shaped apertures for facilitating the wicking action. A painter fills the paint reservoir with paint to a position just below a top surface of the paint metering grids. Then, when the painter rolls a paint application device across the top surface, the device is appropriately loaded with paint. In another embodiment, the metering device comprises a metering mesh which is secured to a top surface of an exterior wall. The mesh flexes as a paint application device is rolled there over. The excess paint is removed from the application device and drains back to the paint reservoir. In yet another embodiment, the metering device includes cross-shaped projections formed integrally with the lower surface of the tray.

The paint apparatus as described above may be provided as part of a kit which would also include the paint metering grids. The kit also includes instructional materials, practice paper, a figure oil paintings device, such as a roller with a variety of cover designs, for applying paint to a surface. The roller may include a printing roller, a shortened roller, or a bifurcated roller.

How to create spatter oil paintings

A method of spatter oil paintings with a texture applicator comprising the steps of: introducing a viscous paint into a paint reservoir in a paint tray until a depth level of the paint in the paint reservoir reaches the depth level “h”; placing an open-loop paint roller cover having elements with substantial interstitial open space there between with the open-loop paint roller cover elements having a radial thickness “t” where the radial thickness “t” is greater than the depth level “h” so that only a peripheral portion of the elements are immersible in the paint in the paint reservoir; rolling the open-loop paint roller cover in the paint reservoir to randomly transfer a portion of the paint from the paint reservoir to some of the elements in the peripheral portion of the paint roller cover in the form of randomly spaced droplets or globules to thereby form a partially loaded paint roller cover; removing the partially loaded open-loop paint roller cover from the paint reservoir; and rolling the partially loaded paint roller cover over a surface to thereby produce a spatter paint effect by the transfer of the randomly spaced droplets or globules from the peripheral portion of the partially loaded paint roller cover to the surface.

The concept of decorative abstract oil paintingsusing a paint roller cover is known in the art. In general a decorative pattern is formed directly in the paint roller cover. Using the paint roller cover with a decorative pattern one dips the paint roller cover in a paint tray and then rolls the paint roller cover over a surface to transfer the pattern on the paint roller cover to the surface. This type of decorative can be described as “pattern transfer” or “roller cover pattern transfer” using “patterned rollers” since the pattern formed in the paint roller cover is transferred by rolling the patterned paint roller cover with paint thereon over a surface to be painted.

Another type of decorative figure oil paintings are spatter painting. Typically, spatter painting is also known in the art and as the name suggests is a method of decorative painting where paint is spattered on to a surface. The method of spatter painting is to load paint onto the bristles of a paint brush and then shake the brush near the surface to spatter paint onto a surface. While this produces a true “spatter effect”, the difficulties with this technique is that it is difficult to coat a large surface so that the “spatter effect” appears visually consistent over the entire surface. As a result the “spatter effect” often becomes overwhelmed by a splotch effect. That is, the size and shape of the spatter painting in one area predominates over the size and shape of spatter painting in another area thereby preventing one from creating a painted surface with the desired cohesiveness.

The Magical Effect of Paint Roller

The concept of decorative pattern painting from oil painting gallery by using sponges and other applicators to apply paint in various patterns is known in the art. Typically, sponges are used to daub paint on to a surface to produce a decorative pattern. Another method involve the use of a double roller with raised patterns on the roller to form decorative paint patterns as the double roller is rolled over the surface.

A feature is the use of a paint pad applicator which carries multiple color paints in an unmixed side by side relationship. The applicator is stroked or moved laterally along a surface to form a color blended decorative pattern thereon. The decorative pattern is determined on the amount of in situs blending of the different paint colors as well as the type of strokes used to apply the paints. After stroking an area, the paint pad applicator is again loaded with fresh paints so that the paint pad applicator again carries multiple color paints in an unmixed and side by side relationship. This method involves the continual refreshing of the paint pad applicator with the original color paint which are in an unmixed state on the paint pad applicator. I call my method of hand-painted oil painting pad brushing.

The application of two different colored paints with two side by side rollers involves applying layers of paint on top of one another as the rollers are rolled over the surface. Another method use a plastic bag over the roller to apply a decorative surface finish to the painted surface by rolling the roller with the bag thereon over a painted surface to obtain a decorative pattern . Other methods of decorative and cheap oil paintings use color washing, stippling or applying splotches of paint to a surface that are then spread with a brush.

In an alternate decorative method that does not involve a paint roller applicator carrying three or more figure oil paintings colors on separate rollers which are used to simultaneously apply three or more color paints to surface. The use of three or more colors in a paint roller with a non-decorative pattern on the paint roller provides decorative tracks or band of the three different paints on the surface. By rolling over the bands of the different paints multiple times one can produce a decorative surface. While the decorative multiple paint rollers generally lacks the in situs blending that can be achieved using my PADBRUSHING? method of applying paint to a surface, the use of three different colors with three or more rollers one can provide a layering and mixing effect to produce a decorative pattern which is a function of the amount of rolling of the surface and not a function of a decorative pattern on the roller.

Decorative Painting Kit

A decorative oil painting kit including multiple-color paint applicators and a method of decoratively painting a surface though in situs surface blending of two or more paints of different colors by using a multiple-color paint applicator which is stroked over the same surface a sufficient number of time to at least partially blend the different paint colors. The partial in situs surface blending of two or more paints produces a decorative pattern on the painted surface that is color characterized by having areas with some of the original paint colors and other areas with various blends of the original paint colors thereon to produce a decoratively painted surface.

A paint kit for decorative color oil paintings including: a segmented paint applicator comprising: a handle; a shaft extending from said handle and terminating in a section which is substantially perpendicular to an axis through said handle; a first friction mount roller for mounting on the shaft;

A second friction mount roller for mounting on the shaft and a third friction mount roller for mounting on the shaft with each of the friction mount rollers space-able from each other by sliding said friction mount rollers along the shaft to enable a user to alter the number of bands of colored paint applied from the segmented roller as well the spacing between the bands of colored paint applied from the segmented roller; and instructions for in situs decorative figure oil paintings to enable a person to use the segmented applicator to in situs surface blend a paint applied by each of the friction mount rollers.

A hand-painted oil painting kit for decoratively applying multiple color paints with a single applicator tool before any of the multiple color paints have dried comprising: a paint tray, said tray having a shallow end and a reservoir end, said tray including at least two dividers for dividing said paint tray into elongated compartments with each of the compartments holding a liquid paint that is a different color from at least one of the other paints in an adjacent compartment; a pair of support members mounted on opposite sides of said paint tray;a paint dispenser of a first width, said dispenser rotatably mounted from said support members with said dispenser comprising at least three separate paint transfer rollers with each of said rollers extending at least partially into the reservoir end of the paint tray so that each of the separate paint rollers can pick up paint from it's respective compartments as the paint roller is rotated about a central axis; a paint pad applicator, said paint pad applicator having a width substantially equal to the width of the dispenser so that when the paint pad is frictionally engaged with the roller, the paint pad rotates the roller to transfer at least two different colored paints to the paint pad to thereby create a single paint pad with adjacent regions containing different colored paints so that the paint pad can then be wiped against a surface to deliver a surface pattern with multiple colors.

About Water-based Paint

A water-based oil paint which comprises a constituent selected from fillers and pigments as well as an aqueous phase comprising one or more water-soluble salts in an amount sufficient to substantially prevent dissolution in the paint of water-soluble organic or inorganic colored substances. The water-soluble salt/salts may be present in a concentration of at or above 10% (weight/volume), in particular at or above 35% such as up to 70% (weight/volume).

A binder, said binder present in said paint composition in an amount of from about 3 to about 20% by weight, based on the weight of said paint composition; Figure oil paintings exhibits the property of substantially preventing dissolution of water-soluble organic or inorganic colored substances present on a surface to which said paint is applied, said paint composition comprising: A hydrophobic agent selected from the group consisting of silicone oil, silicone resin, fluoridated silicone, wax emulsions and polyethylene dispersions, said agent present in said paint composition in an amount of up to about 15% by weight;

Reinforcing fiber, said fiber selected from the group consisting of glass, diastase, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyacrylonitrile and mixtures thereof, said fibers having a length of from about 2 to 10 mm and present in said paint composition in an amount of up to about 5% by weight; Surface's selected from lecithin, alkyl sulfates, alkyl sulfonates and polytetrafluorethylene derivatives, said surfactant present in said paint composition in an amount of up to about 2% by weight;

A viscosity-reducing agent selected from saccharides, polysaccharides and polyhydric alcohols, said agent present in said paint composition in an amount of from about 1 to about 20% by weight; A crystal formation-retarding agent selected from potassium hydroponically, potassium cyanide  potassium cyanate and potassium thiocyanate, said agent present in said paint composition in an amount of up to about 5% by weight. An anti-foaming agent selected from silicone and fatty alcohols, said agent present in said paint composition in an amount of up to about 0.5% by weight;

The paint is useful for landscape oil paintings of stained interior building surfaces without allowing water-soluble stains to seep through the wet paint. In order to improve the long-term stability of the paint with respect to microbial spoilage, the paint may further contain any of the fungicides and bactericides conventionally used in the hand-painted oil painting for addition to paint. Examples of such preservatives are out-organize derivatives, organometallic derivatives, adamantean derivatives, barium meta-borate, heterocyclic carbamates, etc.

The paint may be prepared by mixing together the constituents. For example, the paint may be prepared by adding the fillers and/or pigments to an aqueous solution of the salt/salts in question in an appropriate concentration, followed by adding the optional binders and/or additives to the obtained mixture.

How to Create Aesthetically Pleasing Painting?

It is appreciated that considerable skill, patience and experience is required to create an original oil painting. Often, paintings produced by amateurs, especially children, are poor, with the exception of a small number of talented and gifted persons.

Various painting kits are available to assist amateur painters in producing aesthetically pleasing oil paintings. One example is the "painting by numbers" type kits. Such kits comprise a base sheet which has a surface divided into various areas, and each area printed with an identification number. The number designates the appropriate paint color which should be applied to the area. However, such kits nevertheless require relatively careful application of paint and in particular that the paint must be retained within the boundary lines of each designated area. Generally, if the boundaries are not observed, an unacceptable painting results.The present invention aims to alleviate at least some of the aforementioned problems. In particular, the invention seeks to address problems encountered by amateur painters who attempt to create a picture that involves blending of various colors.

Preferred substrates are capable of retaining paint and releasing the appropriate masking material. Particularly preferred substrates are capable of absorbing paint rather than retaining it as a coating. This is preferred since such coatings could be susceptible to release upon removal of the masking material. In any event, it is required that the substrate is capable of retaining paint with greater strength than it can retain the masking material.As used herein, the term "layer" referring to the form of the masking material on the substrate is to be construed broadly as meaning a stratum of the masking material having locally continuous and/or discontinuous regions, the size, shape, location and distribution of which give rise to the pictorial character which the masking material provides.

Various masking materials may be employed in hand-painted oil painting. It is desirable that the masking material be generally non-permeable to paint, to the extent that it provides an effective barrier to prevent or inhibit paint reaching the masked regions of substrate. In this respect, when the paint has dried in or on the masking materials, it may be readily removed along with the masking material.

Of course, the pictorial content of the masking material may take a host of forms. Also, the pictorial content need not be readily visible to the user before application of paint. Thus, the masking material may be selected to be generally transparent, or of a color matching that of the substrate. Alternatively, it may be desirable to enhance visibility of the masking material by selecting it to be of a color which contrasts with that of the substrate. Thus, within the scope of the invention is the use of masking material in figure oil paintings or other style paintings, which is tinted by inclusion of one or more color dyes to produce a masking material of any desired color.

The flowing color of oil paintings

Abstract oil paintings, also called Splashing Colors oil painting, is an innovating, unique oil painting method. It is difficult to confine oil in water to construct the desired shapes. Many artists have attempted to manipulate free-flowing oil in an attempt to form precise images with the oil but have not been successful. They have managed only to make abstract paintings but not object paintings with shapes or details. The Flowing Colors oil painting method solves the problem by being capable of using oil to produce object paintings with shapes and details. The method daringly mixes two resisting elements, painting oil and water, using water to control the flow of the colorful painting oil on a wet painting medium such as paper or canvas.

The oil and water mix yet repel one another, separated yet commingled together, opposed to yet supportive of each other. The subsequent effect is the ability to form accurate images with desired colorful dynamics, to express the powerful depiction of high mountains, flying clouds, rolling water, soaring tidal waves, and precise figure oil paintings. The marriage of water and oil, an unthinkable combination, produces images rich in color, vibrant in lights, and sophisticated in fullness and emptiness, resulting in an abstract yet classic form of painting. It is also possible to prepare Flowing Colors oil paintings of objects, shapes and images, abstract or otherwise, without the use of water, and the effects can be similar to or different from those of Flowing Colors oil paintings prepared with the use of water.

The term “Flowing Colors” refers to oil paintings or oil colors that have been formulated with a diluent, and are therefore suitable for “Flowing Colors” oil painting. “Flowing Colors” may be stored in a large container, or a squeezable plastic bottle with a pointed spout for future use. “Oil” as an ingredient of a diluent refers to any of numerous mineral, vegetable and synthetic oils, or animal and vegetable fats that are generally soluble in various organic solvents such as ether but not in water. Preferably, the oil is mineral oil or baby oil.

“Base pan” refers to a flat surface, often rectangular, with raised edges around entire perimeter. Examples of base pan include, but are not limited to, trays, pans, dishes and low edged containers. Preferably, the base pan is a framed canvas. One skilled in the art would prepare a framed canvas by stretching a canvas over a rectangular frame and securing the canvas on the frame.

Any commercially available or newly formulated oil paint or oil color may be used in the present composition. An oil paint is any paint that is miscible with oil but not water, and may be used for oil painting or household painting. An oil color is one that is typically used for oil painting. Alternatively, during the manufacture of an oil paint or oil color, a proper amount of a diluent can be added to produce the present composition suitable for use as “Flowing Colors” without the need to do any mixing prior to painting. The composition can be of any colors, transparent or translucent.

How to Make Your Oil Paintings Waterproof?

Oil paintings are widely used as wall decorations. Recently, waterproof art for hanging on walls of showers and bathtubs have been introduced. The oil paintings can be portraits, paintings, still life or charts such as fanciful alphabets or games. The art work is generally lithographs on substrates such as paper that are degraded by contact with moisture.

The hand-painted oil painting can be protected by encapsulation as described in U.S. Pat. No. 4,536,423, by E. C. Travis. In the Travis patent the waterproofed encapsulated art work is hung on the wall of a shower or tub enclosure by adhesive strips adhered to the back of the art work. However, the strips of adhesive collect dust, grime and are a center for fungus growth. Furthermore, the adhesive tape does not reliably adhere to smooth tile walls of showers. The tape releases from the wall.

The suction cups firmly and reliably adhere to the smooth ceramic, porcelain or painted metal walls of a shower or tub enclosure. In fact, suction cups adhere better to smooth, non-porous walls. If the walls are formed of porous masonry or rough surfaces, the surface behind the suction cup can be sealed with an adhesive patch of smooth plastic as disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 5,047,102, the disclosure of which is expressly incorporated herein by reference. No fungus or mold is found to form on or under the suction cup after several months of residence in a shower enclosure.

I describe a waterproof oil painting which eliminates the use of adhesive. Holes are punched through the corners of the laminate and the art work is suspended by suction cups having a stem which is received in the holes. The outer end of the stem can have a hook or bulbous end to prevent the art work from falling off the stem. However, the waterproof envelope of paintings, such as abstract, landscape and figure oil paintings, is now not continuous since the top and bottom films are breached to form the apertures for hanging the assembly. It is found that some of the apertures are not totally sealed during lamination of the assembly. Water enters the envelope and is absorbed by and spots the absorbent print.

The invention can be used to form a seal on any aperture formed in a laminated assembly irrespective of whether it is used in a shower or tub. The final laminated print can be hung by hooks, nails or other fasteners to any wall surface. It is to be realized that only preferred embodiments of the invention have been described and that numerous substitutions, modifications and alterations are permissible without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.

What is Your Own Artistic Style?

What is artistic style? As Rita Gilbert said, style was a group of characteristics which can be identified as recurring, constant, or coherent, and “Artistic style” was the sum of recurring, constant or coherent characteristics identified with a group. In order to create a professional oil painting as an artist, you should define your art in a sea of endless numbers of artists. That is, you must know and find your own art style.

Your artistic style is exactly a combination of the technique, mediums and subject you select. It is not just that you paint an unknown image and named it “abstract painting” or that you successfully hand-paint a figure oil paintings. These are only called “genres”. There are some extra things you need to do, which help you to distinguish your art from other artists. A lot of artists have identifiable styles of painting. Maybe some of them have not realize it. Such a personal style cannot be defined as a good thing or a bad thing. It results from the artists’ decisions, choices or trends that they make in the course of creating their own oil paintings. Then, what is the decision about? As above mentioned, it is the combination of the technique, mediums and the subject they choose. The artists carefully handle every factor in the course of painting, including color, line, form, texture, shape, value, etc. It is the tiny factors that make up the composition.

Is that really necessary to develop your own artistic style? Actually, if you want to be a real artist, I think the answer is definitely “YES”. For instance, if you want your paintings to be collected by art collectors, the art style is very necessary due to the fact that only the painting with some special artistic style will be possible to capture the eye of collectors. Just as one ever said, “if the painting looks like the real thing, I can just take a photo of it and hang the photo on the wall”. Your own art style is helpful to set you apart from other artists and display your unique characteristics. Thus, many people may know the painting is created by you without looking at the signature. What’s more, artistic style is the essence of the art, so if you want to show your oil paintings in the art gallery, the art style is extremely necessary and the gallery owner want to see from your work.

The artistic style can not be developed overnight. It comes from the artist’s efforts. You will be able to achieve your own art style through creating a large number of oil paintings. In the course of making paintings, you will acquire more experience and techniques. Meanwhile, you will gradually find some certain art style from one painting to another paintings.

The Charm of Still Life Oil Paintings

When people choose one theme for decorating the room, they seldom think about pictures they will put on the wall. Usually, the first idea comes to the mind is wallpaper or paint. Sure, it will never be forgotten. Secondly, decorating the room with carpet. For most people, this is a natural step after the first one. Then, furniture will play a very important role. A house without furniture is hard to be regarded as a “home”. Three basic steps are completed, then what? Maybe, only a few people will think about this. Maybe, some people will never consider “what next”. During the whole process, prints, photos and oil paintings are left behind. However, a well-decorated room always tends to be quipped with art.

Choosing artwork for decorating room can create a harmonious space in the room which is filled with joy. Vice verse, the choice of painting’s style depends on the room and its entire feel. In order not to make a question feeling or unbalanced effect, people should be careful when choosing art. But most of the time, decorating with art will successfully bring “deliberate random” look.

Still life oil paintings work as an wonderful choice for living room and kitchens, offering soothing and calm elements to the wall. This subject of paintings is extremely effective in the kitchen. Because still life oil paintings tend to contain a lot of images of fruit, food, bowls and tableware. Such oil painting will portray either a bunch of delicious food on the classical table, or some fresh flowers. These kinds of objects will work particularly well in kitchens due to the rustic style that they bring.

Modern still oil paintings tend to contain many other things - metal pieces, a pile of trash, a couple of bottles, etc. which have nothing to do with food or flowers. That is, modern ones become diversified. Also, this is the reason why the effectiveness of still life oil paintings in home-decoration becomes more obvious. Artists capture the image of a modern life or the essence of the city and render their own sense of spirituality in their art form.

Modern artists tend to be more creative in art movement, which make still life paintings more attractive. The objects in still life oil paintings are frozen or so-called still. There is no motion in the painting, so still life oil paintings naturally give out an air of “stillness”. This will perfectly match the vibrant colors of the room and give an ideal counterpoint to the lines of other rooms.
